About the Role
Are you a strategic finance leader who thrives on driving performance, transformation, and business growth at a global scale? We are looking for a Head of Global Finance & Performance to lead a global organization of approximately 50 finance professionals across our Energy Systems business area. In this highly visible leadership role, you will shape the future of finance performance management, governance, analytics, and transformation while partnering closely with senior leaders across the business.
As the energy industry undergoes rapid change, Energy Systems is pursuing ambitious growth targets, aiming to reach NOK 19 billion in external revenue by 2030. Finance plays a critical role in enabling this growth through data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, strong governance, and digital innovation.
Reporting to the Finance & Performance Director and serving as a key member of the leadership team, you will influence strategic decisions, lead global transformation initiatives, and build high-performing teams that support our long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Drive transformation, process improvement, and digitalization of finance processes and tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and business value realization.
- Lead and embed effective change management practices to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working across the organization.
- Build and lead high-performing global teams and networks, fostering collaboration, capability development, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Act as a strategic business partner to leadership, providing trusted insights, challenging performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Drive end-to-end Finance & Performance management, including planning, forecasting, reporting, and KPIs.
- Bring a strong commercial mindset to support profitable growth, business performance, and value creation across Energy Systems.
- Drive global excellence through trusted insights, governance, best practices, and standardization.
- Ensure a strong internal control framework (ICFR), compliance, and audit readiness across Energy Systems.
- Support the continued success of the project administration team in India.
- Represent Energy Systems in Group initiatives and ensure alignment with broader finance, digital, and governance agendas.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant leadership experience from global or multinational environments.
- Deep expertise in FP&A, business performance management, financial governance, and transformation.
- Experience leading large-scale process improvement, digitalization, or finance transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.
- A data-driven mindset and strong understanding of modern finance technology and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
