Job description

Head of Growth/Organic - Letaido

Palo Alto, CA, US

Cambridge, MA, US

About Letaido

Letaido is an AI teammate for marketing teams. Not a chatbot that answers questions - an agent with its own workspace, that does the work: pulls the data, builds the tool, writes the report, ships the page, and keeps it running on a schedule.

Ask it for a content gap analysis and it queries Ahrefs directly. Ask it to track competitor ads and it builds you an app for that and keeps it updated. It connects to the systems marketers already live in HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Google Ads, Search Console, Stripe and around fifty others - and it can stand up a public site or an internal dashboard without a developer.

It’s built inside Ahrefs, which gives it something almost no AI product has: fifteen years of web crawling infrastructure, petabytes of first-party index data, and no investors setting the timeline.

We are Ahrefs, a bootstrapped company that builds SEO and marketing tools used by hundreds of thousands of professionals worldwide. We’ve been profitable and independent for fifteen years, which means we answer to our users rather than to investors.

About the Position

We are seeking a Head of Growth/Organic for Letaido to drive AI-driven marketing strategies and organic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own organic growth for Letaido end to end - strategy, execution, and results. Content, SEO, technical foundations, and the editorial standard.
  • Get Letaido cited by AI assistants, not just ranked in Google. You’ll have Ahrefs Brand Radar to measure it, which is more than most people in this job can say.
  • Build the content engine - commission it, edit it, or write it yourself. Early on, mostly yourself.
  • Show the product doing real work. The best marketing for an agent that builds things is the things it built, so expect to publish what you make with it.
  • Run experiments across the rest of the funnel: newsletter, partnerships, community, paid where it earns its place.
  • Instrument everything, and be honest about what isn’t working.
  • Hire and lead the team once the channel is proven - starting with the roles you’ve established the need for.
  • Use Letaido itself to do the job. You’ll be its most demanding user, and the fastest route from "this is broken" to a fix is a conversation with the team who build it.

Requirements

  • You’ve been an early growth or organic hire at a startup and watched it scale - you know what the first hundred pieces of content feel like, not just the thousandth.
  • You’ve grown a product’s organic acquisition from a standing start, and you can show what you did and what it produced.
  • You write. Well, and quickly. You have opinions about what makes a piece worth publishing.
  • You understand technical SEO properly - site architecture, indexation, internal linking - and can hold your own with engineers.
  • You’ve thought seriously about how AI assistants surface and cite products, and you can tell the difference between what actually moves citations and what’s currently fashionable to claim.
  • You’d rather own a number than manage a process.
  • You want to be in a room with the team. This is a small group doing early-stage work, and that goes better in person.

Nice to Have

  • You’ve built an audience of your own - a newsletter, a following, a community.
  • Experience marketing developer tools, marketing tools, or anything sold to practitioners who can smell a bad claim.
  • You’ve worked with AI agents or LLM tooling seriously enough to have opinions about where they’re genuinely useful.
  • You’ve hired and managed writers or editors.
  • Paid acquisition experience, so you know when organic is the wrong answer.

We Offer

  • Ownership of a channel and the freedom to run it your way
  • Direct line to the Head of Letaido - small team, few layers, quick decisions
  • The data and tooling of a fifteen-year-old SEO company behind an early-stage product
  • Daily use of the thing you’re marketing, and a direct line to the people building it
  • Annual company retreat (usually skiing)
  • Conference and learning budget
  • A properly equipped office, and lunch on us
