About the Position
Head of IT-Controlling (m/w/d)
Location: Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, DE
Employment Type: FULL_TIME
Responsibilities
- Leadership: You will lead a specialized team and establish clear standards for quality, reliability, and effective collaboration within a corporate environment.
- Planning and Reporting: You will be responsible for rolling planning, forecasts, and management reporting. You will derive impactful recommendations for IT portfolio management from available data.
- Costing Models: You will develop cause-related and scalable billing models for IT products and services, translating complex relationships into clear decision-making bases.
- Stakeholder Engagement: As a sparring partner for IT management and commercial stakeholders, you will represent your position appropriately and convincingly.
- IT Services: You will make the costs, scope, and value contribution of IT services comprehensible and further develop the IT key performance indicators as needed.
- International Initiatives: You will support international planning, transformation, and structuring initiatives and represent the interests of IT controlling in cross-departmental projects.
Requirements
- Education: A completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience: Several years of solid experience in IT controlling of a larger, preferably internationally active company - particularly in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis.
- Understanding: A deep understanding of Total Cost of Ownership as well as cause-related calculation and billing of IT products and services. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of modern IT architectures and operating models.
- Skills: Proven leadership experience and strong management and stakeholder skills.
- Tools: Proficiency in modern controlling, BI, and analysis tools, such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, and SQL.
- Languages: Fluent in German and English for collaboration in an international corporate environment.
