Head of IT Infrastructure & Group IT

About the Position

Join our growing and innovative corporate group as Head of IT Infrastructure & Group IT, leading global IT strategy and security.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for planning, integration, consolidation, and management of the IT infrastructure for the entire, globally active Wickeder Group
• Harmonization and standardization of group IT in the areas of network, security, communication, and office
• Further development and implementation of the IT strategy with a focus on continuous optimization and efficiency improvement
• Design, operation, and administration of networks, servers, data centers, as well as cloud and hybrid environments
• Further development of an existing risk-based ISMS according to ISO 27001
• Definition and enforcement of IT security policies, as well as ensuring compliance
• Secure operation of collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365), email, VoIP/Unified Communications, and endpoint management including governance
• Management of IT service processes, helpdesk, and SLA management to ensure user satisfaction
• Project leadership and budget responsibility, including roadmap planning and quality assurance
• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the IT department

Requirements

• Completed degree in an IT field, preferably with a focus on infrastructure, networks, security, and cloud
• Experience in building group-wide IT structures
• Leadership experience and profound knowledge in system administration, network, security, cloud/Microsoft 365, and project management
• Practical knowledge in network architectures, data centers, Azure/AWS, IT security, endpoint, and identity management
• Experience in establishing policies and processes according to ISO 27001
• Strong leadership skills, communication ability, and experience in stakeholder management
• Business fluent English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
