About the Team

The Partnerships team builds external relationships that expand the reach and impact of OpenAI’s products. We work closely with Product, Engineering, GTM, Legal, and Policy to turn partner capabilities into durable product, distribution, and growth opportunities.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Head of Product Partnerships, LATAM to lead OpenAI’s partnership strategy and execution across Latin America. You’ll identify, develop, and deliver partnerships that accelerate adoption of OpenAI’s products across enterprise, developer, and consumer channels. You’ll build relationships with global technology platforms and regional leaders, including enterprise software vendors, telecommunications companies, cloud providers, and government-aligned organizations. This role requires strong regional judgment, product intuition, commercial rigor, and the ability to move from strategy through deal execution and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own OpenAI’s product partnership strategy across LATAM, setting regional priorities and leading end-to-end partnership development and delivery.
  • Identify, structure, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships spanning commercial terms, product scope, data and privacy, brand and marketing, incentives, and expansion opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior partner executives, align on joint value propositions, navigate complexity, and establish durable operating models.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, GTM, Legal, and Policy to align roadmaps, navigate constraints, and execute partnership initiatives.
  • Apply a strong understanding of country and sub-region differences across LATAM to inform prioritization, positioning, and partner selection.
  • Define success metrics and use analytical judgment to measure progress, surface risks, and communicate outcomes to internal leaders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, product partnerships, business development, or general management within the technology industry.
  • Demonstrated record of developing and delivering high-impact partnerships with major technology companies.
  • Deep understanding of LATAM market dynamics and experience operating across multiple countries and sub-regions.
  • Product-minded with the ability to engage technical teams credibly, influence product direction, and navigate roadmap tradeoffs.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-level relationship-management skills.
  • Strong analytical judgment and comfort using data to set priorities, make decisions, and communicate impact.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, both independently and across complex cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
