About the Position
GEBHARDT Fördertechnik GmbH, a leading provider of material flow and internal logistics systems, is seeking a Head of Logistics to manage and optimize logistics processes. Join our team in Sinsheim and contribute to our success in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities
- Logistics Management: Oversee and organize logistics processes along the entire value chain.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve material and goods flows to enhance efficiency, transparency, and delivery reliability.
- Supply Chain Security: Ensure timely material supply for production and punctual customer delivery.
- Interface Management: Coordinate logistics operations with production, procurement, and other departments.
- Project Management: Participate in cross-departmental improvement projects to optimize processes and structures.
- System Management: Maintain SAP logistics modules and ensure high-quality logistics master data.
- Performance & Team Development: Monitor and evaluate logistics KPIs, derive optimization measures, and train and develop team members.
- Strategic Logistics Development: Contribute to investment and budget planning, and support export and customs processes in international trade.
Requirements
- Education & Training: Completed studies in logistics, industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on logistics, or equivalent qualifications; alternatively, technical training with relevant further education in logistics management.
- Professional Experience: Several years of professional experience in a managerial position within logistics, such as warehousing, inbound, outbound, or transport.
- Logistics Expertise: Experience in managing complex logistics processes and cross-departmental collaboration with production, procurement, and external service providers.
- Methodological Skills: Ideally, additional qualifications in supply chain management, lean logistics, or process management.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to make targeted and responsible decisions.
- Analytical Skills: Process-oriented mindset and a good understanding of the relationships along the logistics value chain.
- Communication Skills: Confident demeanor and enjoyment in working with various stakeholders.
- System Skills: Solid SAP knowledge and proficiency in handling and analyzing logistics KPIs.
