About the Position

Head of Luxembourg Depositary Bank Account Management

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Luxembourg Depositary Bank Account Management team. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Fiduciary Account Managers, including performance reviews and career development through training and coaching.
• Maintain continuous in-depth regulatory knowledge for self and the team, keeping abreast of all updates to UCITS/AIFMD and other regulations affecting the funds industry.
• Act as a senior contact in the delivery of an excellent Depositary service to our clients on a daily basis.
• Oversee Fund Administrators, Managers, and Transfer Agents to ensure funds managed by Citi are compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with offshored service providers through weekly and monthly service calls and onsite review meetings.
• Ensure a consistent UK & European service and product offering is delivered and developed for existing and potential fund clients.
• Lead and support the implementation of new business.
• Provide board-level reporting to clients.
• Work with internal support teams and external parties to resolve any outstanding client issues.
• Monitor and track agreed service level commitments, escalating any issues to the relevant parties and following through to resolution.
• Engage in projects and additional tasks as required by the Head of UK & Europe TFS Account Management.
• Protect the interests of investors in funds and ensure Citigroup's franchise and reputation is safeguarded with the appropriate regulatory bodies and client base.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in Fiduciary or other compliance or financial services related roles.
• Knowledge: Good technical knowledge of financial instruments and investment strategies, in-depth understanding of European fund regulations.
• Education: Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
• Skills: Relevant Funds industry qualifications, strong knowledge of all MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competencies: Integrity & strong ethics, strong management & team working ability, ability to multitask with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, both oral & written.

• Competitive salary range: €128,000.00 - €212,000.00 per year.
