About the Position

Head of Network Planning and Development Department

Our client, the leading energy company in Ukraine, opens a vacancy for the Head of Network Planning and Development Department.

Responsibilities

• Asset Management:

  • Grids target models and development programs
  • Grids development forecasting and modeling
  • Planning grids capacity for connecting new customers, renewable resources, prosumers, and electric refueling services
  • CAPEX and OPEX programs development and implementation control to achieve the target indicators of grids development
  • Budget control and monitoring of the grids maintenance program

• Research of New Technologies for Electricity Distribution Companies:

  • Analysis and selection of new technologies for energy networks, their support, and implementation
  • Work with start-ups and the Innovations Directorate for the development of new technological solutions for distribution companies
  • Cooperation with Ukrainian and European organizations for the purpose of gaining best practices and technologies in the technical grids development sphere

Requirements

• Higher engineering / technical education
• Experience in similar positions; experience in building and development of the assets management function
• Understanding the specifics of energy companies’ work
• Focus and motivation to work with new technologies
• English and Russian - upper-intermediate level or above - is a must
