About the Position
We are seeking a Head of Operations to play a central role in shaping and driving our operational strategy. This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who thrives on systems thinking, meticulous planning, and executive-level communication. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aligning cross-functional teams, enabling product and technology conversations, and ensuring our operations scale efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Strategic & Systems Leadership: Contribute to both short- and long-term operational strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Act as a key voice in roadmap discussions, facilitating conversations between product, technology, and commercial stakeholders.
- Resource & Capacity Planning: Oversee staffing and resource allocation to ensure teams are supported, deadlines are met, and business priorities are delivered.
- Operational Excellence: Design, implement, and standardize processes that enhance efficiency and scalability across multiple teams and locations.
- Technology & Tools: Champion the adoption and optimization of digital platforms (e.g., SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence) to improve collaboration and transparency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the operational connector between Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support, ensuring seamless delivery of initiatives.
- Executive Communication & Facilitation: Present operational updates and options clearly at the senior management level, supporting informed decision-making and alignment.
- Continuous Improvement & Culture: Foster a culture of accountability, adaptability, and innovation, encouraging teams to embrace change and strive for excellence.
Requirements
- Systems Thinking & Strategic Insight: Ability to understand the bigger picture, map dependencies, and bridge conversations between product, technology, and business functions.
- Release Management: Ability to quickly learn new products and features, understand critical deliverables and optimise delivery processes. Previous release and/or project management experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Resource Planning: Experience in resource planning and staffing is preferred, but not essential.
- Executive Communication: Strong presentation and facilitation skills, working directly with the senior leadership and driving cross-functional decision-making.
- Dynamic & Adaptable: Resilient in fast-changing environments, maintaining clarity and focus under pressure.
- Proactive Problem-Solver: Hands-on, solution-oriented, and always ready to anticipate and address operational challenges.
