About the Position
We are seeking a Head of Operations for our international group of companies in Kyiv, Ukraine, focusing on financial and legal audits, management accounting, and international restructuring.
Our client is an internationally oriented group of companies with multiple business lines. The activities include B2B electronics distribution, R&D in industrial solutions (including aeration technologies), and the development of robotic systems.
The business is currently in an active growth and scaling phase, with a focus on launching new directions and improving operational processes in an international environment. The role implies a high level of autonomy, direct interaction with the founder, and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions and the overall development of the companies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial and legal audit of the group of companies.
- Build management accounting.
- Participate in international restructuring of the group of companies.
- Ensure compliance (Ukrainian and international jurisdictions).
- Implement budgeting, payment calendar, and document flow control.
- Coordinate with external accountants, banks, and contractors.
- Oversee import/export processes and currency operations.
- Implement and develop ERP/CRM systems.
- Automate business processes (procurement, logistics, sales, warehouse accounting).
- Collaborate with an AI architect on digitalization and automation initiatives.
- Manage operational activities and coordinate the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in roles such as Head of Operations / Operations Director / CFO in small or medium-sized businesses.
- Proven experience in building management accounting from scratch.
- Practical experience in foreign trade operations (import/export, currency control, multi-currency accounting).
- Experience working with foreign jurisdictions and understanding of international tax planning.
- English: Upper-Intermediate or higher (for working communication).
- Strong advantage: understanding of AI/automation tools.
- High level of responsibility and autonomy.
- Result-oriented mindset and process-building approach.
