Head of Payments Consulting & Solutions

About the Position

Genesis, a leading Ukrainian IT product company, is seeking a Head of Payments Consulting & Solutions-a strategic leader to drive payment consulting across its entire ecosystem and build a cutting-edge payment infrastructure from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Internal Payments Consulting: Optimize and streamline payment operations across businesses.
• Payment Infrastructure Performance: Enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Risk Guidance & Management: Proactively mitigate financial risks.
• Business Development: Conduct market analysis of payment providers, search for opportunities to expand and diversify the payment methods portfolio, and negotiate with payment providers and international banks.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry changes.
• Strategic Partnerships: Negotiate and build strong relationships.
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to a collaborative, expert-driven environment.
• Ad-Hoc Requests: Tackle unique challenges from the Group.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payment solutions, PSP operations, or fintech.
• 2+ years of experience in a managerial role.
• Understanding of payment infrastructure, risk management, and compliance regulations (PSD2, AML, PCI DSS).
• Experience working in companies with a subscription-based business model.
• Proven experience in structuring complex business challenges, conducting market and competitor analysis, and driving data-driven decision-making.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and performance analytics.
• Ability to build and optimize business processes, improving operational efficiency and scalability.
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects, collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• High-level communication and negotiation skills, ability to influence and drive business decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience in management consulting (Big-3, Big-4, or other top-tier firms).
• Background in high-growth tech companies or venture-backed startups.
