About the Position

We are seeking a Head of Sales Banktech - Iberia to lead our growth in Spain and Portugal, driving commercial growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial growth and market expansion across Iberia.
  • Build and develop relationships with banks, financial institutions, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
  • Lead complex sales processes, negotiations, and contractual discussions.
  • Build and maintain a strong and predictable sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Business Units to align market needs with Banktech’s portfolio and growth strategy.
  • Represent Tieto Banktech Iberia in customer engagements, industry forums, and strategic events.
  • Ensure achievement of commercial targets and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales leadership and business development within banking, fintech, or technology-driven businesses.
  • Proven experience in selling enterprise software, cloud-based solutions, digital platforms, or technology services for the banking and financial sector.
  • Strong understanding of the banking industry and its transformation challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level customer relationships and win strategic opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on commercial approach.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
