Announcement of Selection for the Vacant Position of Head of the Sector for Work with Enterprises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

Appendix to the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dated December 10, 2020 No. 850

We are seeking a Head of Sector for Work with Enterprises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to lead and manage the sector's activities during the quarantine period.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Sector and directs its activities
• Organizes the work of the Sector, ensures the control and execution of the tasks and functions assigned to it
• Determines the duties of civil servants of the Sector and approves their job descriptions (in case of delegation of such powers by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), monitors their implementation
• Controls the state of office work in the Sector, compliance with the rules of internal service regulations by civil servants of the Sector
• Signs, on behalf of the Sector, letters and other documents related to the performance of its tasks and functions, except those for which the right to sign belongs to the management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in accordance with the legislation
• Issues organizational and administrative acts within its powers, makes decisions on the official activities of the Sector
• Represents the Ministry of Internal Affairs in relations with state authorities, local self-government bodies on matters falling within the competence of the Sector, on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs management
• Contributes, within its competence, to ensuring the implementation of a unified state policy and the implementation of the requirements of regulations aimed at achieving equal rights and opportunities for women and men, preventing and countering discrimination on the basis of sex, sexual harassment
• Implements other powers in accordance with the tasks and functions assigned to the Sector defined by legislative acts

Requirements

• Education: Higher education with an educational degree not lower than a master's degree
• Work experience: Experience in public service positions of categories “B” or “C” or experience of service in local self-government bodies, or experience in managerial positions of enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership for at least two years
• Proficiency in the state language: Fluency in the state language (Ukrainian)

We Offer

• Official salary according to the staffing table in the amount of UAH 13,700
• Increase to the official salary per rank in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017. № 15 “Issues of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (with amendments)
• Other allowances, surcharges, and bonuses - in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”

Information about the Term of Appointment to the Position

• For the period of quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in order to prevent the spread in Ukraine of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and until the date of determination of the winner by the head of the public service according to the results of competitive selection in accordance with the legislation

How to Apply

A person wishing to participate in the selection for appointment to a vacant position shall submit the following information through the Unified State Service Vacancies Portal:

1. An application indicating the main reasons for taking up the position in accordance with Appendix 1 to the Procedure for Appointment to Civil Service Positions for the period of quarantine established in order to prevent the spread in Ukraine of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 290 of April 22, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure)
2. A summary in the form in accordance with Appendix 2 to the Procedure
3. A statement informing that it is not subject to the prohibitions specified in the third or fourth part of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Purge of Power”, and gives consent to the inspection and to the disclosure of information about it in accordance with the said Law

Appendices to the application are not required to submit. Information is accepted until 6 pm on December 5, 2020.
