About the Position
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announces competitions for public service positions of category “B” - Head of the Labor Protection Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Responsibilities
- Organizes, ensures, and participates directly in the development of draft regulatory, organizational, and administrative acts and other documents falling within the competence of the Sector.
- Provides advisory assistance to the structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on matters falling within the competence of the Sector.
- Develops and implements measures to improve the organization and improve the efficiency of the Sector.
- Monitors compliance with the rules of internal civil service (labor) regulations by civil servants of the Sector.
- Organizes the work of the Sector for the accounting and storage of materials of current office work and materials of accident investigations, the formation of cases, and their subsequent storage.
- Prepares plans, reports on the main areas of activity of the Sector, and provides proposals for the work plans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the next year.
- Takes measures to create suitable working conditions for the employees of the Sector, material and technical support, vocational training, and the exercise of other rights specified in job descriptions.
- Participates in the work of advisory and collegial bodies, as well as in meetings held in the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system on labor protection.
- Examines and prepares responses to applications, complaints, citizens' letters, and other correspondence on matters falling within the competence of the Sector.
- Contributes, within its competence, to ensuring the implementation of a unified state policy aimed at achieving equal rights and opportunities for women and men, preventing and countering discrimination on the basis of sex, sexual harassment.
Requirements
- Education: Higher education with an educational degree not lower than a master's.
- Work Experience: Experience in public service positions of categories “B” or “B” or experience of service in local self-government bodies, or experience in managerial positions of enterprises, institutions, and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership for at least two years.
- Proficiency in the State Language: Fluency in the state language.

- Analytical abilities: The ability to think logically, generalize, concretize, decompose complex questions into components, distinguish the main from the secondary, identify patterns; ability to analyze information and draw conclusions, critically evaluate situations, predict and draw their own conclusions.
- Working with large arrays of information: Ability to establish logical relationships; ability to systematize a large array of information; ability to highlight the main thing, make clear, structured conclusions.
- Management of the organization of work: Effective formation and management of processes; clear vision of the goal; clear implementation planning.
- Effective coordination with others: Ability to exchange information constructively, coordinate and organize actions; the ability to establish relations with other structural units of a state body, representatives of other state bodies, including using digital technologies.
We Offer
- Official Salary: 13,700 UAH.
- Allowances, surcharges, bonuses, and compensation: In accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”.
- Increase to the official salary for the rank of civil servant: In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017 No. 15 “The issue of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (as amended).

- Application for participation in the competition indicating the main reasons for taking up the position according to the form in accordance with Appendix 2 of the Procedure for holding a tender for public service positions, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 25, 2016 No. 246 (as amended).
- A summary in the form in accordance with Annex 2.1, in which the following information is necessarily indicated: surname, first name, patronymic of the candidate; details of the document certifying the identity and confirming the citizenship of Ukraine; confirmation of the availability of an appropriate degree of higher education; confirmation of the level of fluency in the state language; information about work experience, civil service experience (if available), work experience in relevant positions in the relevant field defined in the competition, and in managerial positions (if applicable).
- A statement informing that it is not subject to the prohibitions specified in the third or fourth part of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Purge of Power”, and gives consent to the inspection and to the disclosure of information about it in accordance with the said Law.
