About the Position
We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Head of VC & PE Partnerships to lead our strategy and execution in building long-lasting relationships with venture capital and private equity firms. This person will serve as the face of our company within the VC & PE ecosystem in San Francisco and beyond, leveraging an established network to drive meaningful partnerships, market presence, and new business opportunities.
This is not a cold-calling role – it's about building from an existing network, engaging in strategic conversations, and being present where deals and relationships are made.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a partnership strategy with VC and PE firms across the Bay Area and nationally.
- Leverage existing relationships to connect with decision-makers, portfolio companies, and LPs.
- Represent the company at local and national industry events, networking sessions, and exclusive gatherings.
- Act as a trusted advisor to VC & PE firms, positioning our company as a value-added partner for their portfolio.
- Build cross-functional collaboration internally (sales, marketing, product) to align partnership efforts with business objectives.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the VC & PE landscape, industry trends, and key players.
- Deliver measurable results in terms of new partnerships, revenue opportunities, and brand positioning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic relationship management.
- Strong background in venture capital, private equity, or related ecosystems.
- A proven, established network within the VC and PE community especially in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Natural connector: enjoys attending local events, networking, and creating value through relationships.
- Consultative and relationship-driven approach (not transactional sales or cold calling).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to spot opportunities and drive results through influence.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
