About the Position
Health and Safety & QMS Specialist
Ajax Systems, the largest developer and manufacturer of security systems in Europe, is opening a full-cycle production facility in Türkiye. We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety & QMS Specialist to join our team in Istanbul.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and internal regulations.
- Conduct workplace risk assessments and develop improvement proposals to minimize hazards.
- Perform regular site inspections and take corrective actions in case of non-conformities.
- Organize and deliver occupational health and safety training and briefings.
- Manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) processes including procurement, distribution, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement preventive measures to reduce occupational accidents and work-related illnesses.
- Support and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of management systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct internal audits and manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections.
Requirements
- Availability of certificates (training protocols) in accordance with the requirements of Turkiye legislation on H&S, fire safety, and electrical safety.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001.
- Fundamentals of planning and management.
- Working experience in the production sphere for at least 1 year.
- Knowledge and experience of medical checks delivery.
- Knowledge and experience of investigating work-related injuries.
- Knowledge and experience of obtaining state permits (declarations) for objects and work of high risks.
- Confident PC user.
- B Class Health and Safety Certificate.
- ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certificate.
- Ability to prepare reports, analytics, presentations.
- Experience with document management systems and quality software.
