Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role within the Human Resources organization at ING Bank. The HRBP partners closely with business leaders and their management teams to shape and implement the people agenda. Key responsibilities include:

  • People Development: Developing the capabilities of leaders within their scope.
  • Engagement: Supporting and coaching leaders to enhance the engagement of our people.
  • Change & Organisation Development: Acting as a change agent and applying relevant organization design expertise during business transformations.
  • Organisation Reviews & Workforce Planning: Partnering with business leaders in building strategic workforce plans.
  • Performance, Compensation & Talent Reviews: Leading and supporting annual people processes; performance review, compensation review, succession planning, and talent review.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Acting as an ambassador of the diversity & inclusion strategy.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven track record in managing and implementing changes.
  • Profound communication, convincing, and advisory skills with the ability to influence business leaders.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to adapt quickly to the financial industry.
  • Strong strategic focus and ability to translate the people’s vision into increased business performance.
  • Good understanding of how data analysis and reporting support building the people agenda.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing) and preferably a good knowledge of French.
  • Experience in an international and matrix organization is an advantage.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of French.
