Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced HR Director with over 7 years of HR experience, including 2-3 years in a Head/Lead position, to join our team in Spain. Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.

Responsibilities

Organizational Architecture and Processes (40%)
- Conducting an audit of the current team and finalizing the organizational structure (eliminating duplications, identifying gaps);
- Developing and describing job descriptions for all roles;
- Building a KPI system and Performance Review from scratch;
- Implementing and administering HRIS (BambooHR / HiBob / Personio).
HR Operations & Compliance (30%)
- Ensuring HR documentation is in order: contracts in accordance with EU legislation (Spain, Estonia, Georgia);
- Establishing a basic Employee Journey: onboarding, offboarding, regular 1-on-1s, leave management;
- Developing a transparent grading system and Compensation & Benefits.
Targeted Recruitment for Senior/C-level (20%)
- Non-mass, but critically important hiring (average ~1 position per month);
- Closing key roles (CFO, Head of CRM, Head of Security);
- Evaluating senior- and executive-level candidates.
Business Partnership (10%)
- Participation in strategic sessions with founders;
- Assessing teams and HR risks during potential M&A deals.

Requirements

Experience in building HR processes from scratch and willingness to independently establish and manage the function from the start;
7+ years of HR experience, with 2-3 years in a Head/Lead position;
Required experience in iGaming/Fintech/Gambling;
Fluent in Ukrainian (working language in the office); Russian, for communication with part of the team; English, Upper-Intermediate+ (working with documentation);
Willingness to work without subordinates in the first year, independently setting up HR/CRM systems and conducting interviews;
Experience in implementing KPIs, grading systems, and HR CRM/HRIS;
Understanding of P&L specifics in the iGaming industry, Unit Economics, and the impact of the HR function on the company's financial indicators.
