About the Position

HR Manager (All Genders)

H World International, a leading hotel group with eight brands, is looking for an HR Manager to join our team in Düsseldorf, Germany. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing HR processes and the employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR processes for approximately 100 employees at the Steigenberger ICON Parkhotel Düsseldorf.
  • Actively participate in recruiting and workforce planning processes.
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit interviews.
  • Conduct employee and development discussions, support talent reviews, and help implement strategic succession planning.
  • Advise on compensation, benefits, and bonus processes to ensure fair and transparent conditions.
  • Support managers in performance and conflict management, recognizing and addressing issues early.
  • Ensure occupational safety and health in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional experience in HR, ideally in a generalist HR role or as an HR Business Partner.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry and a good understanding of operational processes in a service-oriented environment.
  • Solid knowledge of labor law and HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience in managing change and transformation processes and a willingness to actively shape change.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, communication skills, and consulting expertise.
  • High level of personal responsibility, structured approach, and ability to connect strategic issues with operational implementation.
  • Experience in recruiting, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ideally some experience with HR systems (e.g., rexx or similar).
  • High degree of teamwork, integrity, and reliability-acting with a clear view of the big picture.

Nice to Have

  • Fluency in German (spoken and written), good English skills are a plus.
