About the Position
Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs and Denmark’s biggest NGO, is looking for an HR Partner to join our HR Denmark team supporting our global HQ in Copenhagen and our Danish operations.
Are you an HR partner with experience from HR work in Denmark, a solutions-oriented approach, and are you skilled at building relationships and supporting leaders so they can use the HR toolbox and create success through their employees?
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact for leaders in your departments
- Advise leaders across the full HR spectrum, including handling Danish employment law matters
- Handle operational tasks such as salary offers, complex contracts, terminations, and severance agreements
- Support leadership development for both experienced and new leaders
- Participate in recruitment processes for leadership positions in your area(s)
Requirements
- Relevant academic degree (bachelor’s or master’s)
- Solid experience with Danish employment law, collective agreements, local agreements, and their practical handling
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in both Danish and English
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a varied workday
- Business- and service-minded with the ability to balance business needs with HR compliance
- Structured, detail-oriented, and not afraid of operational tasks
- Team player with a positive attitude towards working in an international environment
