HR Specialist Payroll & HR Operations (m/w/d)

Join flatexDEGIRO SE, the leading and fastest-growing online brokerage platform in Europe, as an HR Specialist Payroll & HR Operations. Ensure timely and compliant payroll processing for Germany & Austria, and support all administrative HR processes along the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and compliant payroll processing in collaboration with external payroll service providers
• Manage and coordinate all payroll-related matters for employees in Germany and Austria
• Handle employee benefits such as JobRad, EGYM Wellpass, and similar offers
• Communicate and correspond with authorities, tax offices, health insurance companies, and pension funds
• Resolve payroll and social insurance legal issues, including tax and social insurance audits
• Conduct all year-end activities, such as professional association notifications and other statutory notifications
• Advise and support employees throughout their entire employment lifecycle
• Act as a point of contact for employees on payroll, tax, and social insurance-related issues
• Create, process, and manage employment contracts, supplementary agreements, confirmations, and other HR documents
• Actively participate in the optimization and digitalization of HR processes and continuous improvement of service quality

Requirements

• Several years of experience in independent payroll processing in Germany and HR administration
• Solid knowledge of labor, payroll, and social insurance law
• Experience in advising employees on payroll, tax, and social insurance-related issues
• Experience in working with external payroll service providers
• Experience in managing and processing employee benefits
• Completed commercial education, a degree, or equivalent qualification with a focus on human resources
• Enjoyment of questioning, optimizing, and actively shaping HR processes
• Structured, reliable, and self-motivated work approach
• Solid English language skills in speech and writing
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central) or similar HR systems is advantageous but not required
• Knowledge of Austrian payroll processes is desirable but not required
