About the Position

HSE Tender Specialist

Ref#: J019175_1779976492

Are you keen to contribute to connecting a greener world by supporting international high-voltage cable projects from the tender stage onward? We design, manufacture and install advanced, environmentally friendly high-voltage cable systems that enable the global energy transition. As HSE Tender Specialist, you help ensure that our bids are safe, compliant, and executable - laying the foundation for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • HSE Tender Support for Complex Cable Projects
    • Translate customer HSE requirements into high-quality, compliant tender deliverables and practical execution concepts.
    • Review ITT documentation, prepare tender HSE plans, develop compliance registers, and ensure proposals reflect realistic, safe, and costed execution approaches.
    • Coordinate closely with Tender Managers, Engineering, Installation/Site Management, Marine, Procurement, Commercial, and Planning teams.
    • Evaluate subcontractor HSE documentation, support tender clarifications with customers, contribute to risk registers, and prepare a structured handover to the project team after award.
    • Model HSE resourcing and cost: building realistic personnel plans, defining training and competence needs, and quantifying safety-related site requirements.

Requirements

  • Higher vocational or university degree within Engineering, Health & Safety, Business, or a related field.
  • Relevant HSE experience in project environments such as infrastructure, offshore wind, marine, or construction.
  • Ability to review and interpret client HSE requirements and convert them into compliant tender deliverables.
  • Strong writing skills and experience producing structured HSE documentation (plans, matrices, registers, method statements).
  • Working knowledge of key HSE elements (risk assessments, RAMS, PTW systems, contractor management, incident reporting principles).
  • Commercial awareness: able to translate controls into time, staffing, and cost assumptions.

We Offer

  • Hybrid Work Option: Work from home up to two days per week.
  • Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands.
  • Occasional Travel: For meetings or workshops when required.
