HTML5/JavaScript Game Developer

GamePoint is one of the world's leading social game developers, based in the Netherlands. We create cross-platform games and have continued to satisfy every type of gamer for over 20 years. We’ve continued success with GamePoint Bingo, Royaldice, Cardparty, and Wordtornado to name a few. We aren’t finished there and continue to develop new games and products for young and old alike. We operate thanks to a diverse international team of game, marketing, and community developers from around the world. We are looking for new team members to help us grow and keep players happy. As an HTML5/JavaScript Game Developer, you will be fully responsible for building our current HTML5 games platform for our multiplayer social games.

Responsibilities

• Creating browser-based HTML5 social games for web clients
• Working with product owners to identify business requirements
• Providing technical expertise in the evaluation of software solutions
• Participating in code review and tasks planning activities
• Troubleshooting applications

Requirements

• 3+ years of HTML5/JavaScript game development experience
• Experience with Javascript ES6+, Typescript
• Experience with Pixi.js
• Experience in creating games
• English B1 level
• Writing well-commented and easy-to-understand code
• Sense of responsibility, commitment, and flexibility
• Team player, open-minded
• React/Redux (1+ year)

Nice to Have

• Experience with ThreeJs
• Experience with Adobe Animate
