Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager and Business Analyst with a strong background in Treasury, Liquidity Risk management, and product expertise in Collateral Loans and Securities. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in IT integration projects, be adept at planning and tracking delivery, and possess a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.

This role requires running working groups, ensuring effective communication across stakeholders, and presenting complex information to senior management. The role also requires strong Business Analysis capability: eliciting and documenting requirements, mapping end-to-end processes, defining target operating models, and translating business needs into clear deliverables for technology and change teams. Experience with Non-Financial Risk (NFR) and controls is essential.

Responsibilities

Project Management (PM)

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for Treasury and Collateral product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Facilitate working groups, driving collaboration between business, technology, and control functions.
  • Apply Agile principles to project execution, fostering iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Integrate IT solutions with existing Treasury and Collateral systems, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor and report on project status, escalating issues and proposing solutions as necessary.

Business Analysis (BA)

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate, and document requirements (business, functional, non-functional).
  • Produce high-quality BA artefacts, e.g. BRDs/FRDs, user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, process maps, data mappings, business rules, and interface requirements.
  • Conduct as-is/to-be process analysis, identify gaps, and propose pragmatic solutions aligned to strategic direction.
  • Support design workshops and working sessions to drive clarity on scope, assumptions, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Translate complex Treasury/Collateral product needs into deliverables that engineers, testers, and operations teams can execute against.
  • Support UAT planning and execution: define test scenarios, coordinate defect triage, and ensure business sign-off aligns to documented acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to implementation readiness (operating model impacts, cutover approach, training/support needs, and post-go-live controls).

Governance, Controls & Stakeholder Management

  • Prepare high-quality papers and presentations for senior management, distilling complex topics into actionable insights.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting style and content as required.
  • Ensure robust NFR and control frameworks are embedded throughout the project lifecycle, including traceability from requirements through to testing and implementation.
  • Support risk and issue management, ensuring impacts are understood and mitigations are agreed with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Treasury, Liquidity Risk, and Collateral Loans/Securities products.
  • Strong track record of IT integration within financial services.
  • Advanced project management skills, including planning, tracking, RAID management, and delivery governance.
  • Demonstrated Business Analysis experience, including: Requirements elicitation and documentation (functional and non-functional) Process mapping (BPMN or equivalent), gap analysis, and solution options Agile delivery artefacts (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) and backlog management UAT support, defect triage, and business sign-off Stakeholder management across Front Office, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Control functions
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and practical application in delivery environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to write papers and deliver presentations to senior audiences.
  • Experience running cross-functional working groups.
  • Knowledge of NFR and controls, with ability to implement and monitor risk frameworks.
  • Highly effective communicator, able to influence and engage at all levels.

We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on transformative projects in the financial services industry.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Career growth and development opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation package.
