Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of system documentation as well as support for the installation and operation of the IBM i system environment.
• Planning and implementation of upgrades, patches, and system adjustments.
• Management and support of high-availability solutions.
• Monitoring of the systems as well as analysis and correction of errors.
• User account and permission management.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training and/or a degree in computer science or a related field.
• Professional experience in the administration of IBM i (AS/400) servers.
• Knowledge in the area of performance analysis of IBM i (AS/400) servers is a plus.
• Knowledge in the areas of high availability and replication is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of SQL would be an advantage.
