About the Position
We are seeking an IBM mainframe control room operator to manage and monitor our mainframe systems in Tel Aviv, Israel. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our IBM mainframe, overseeing network communication, infrastructure, and core systems, and working closely with our Network Operations Center (NOC).
Responsibilities
- Operation of the IBM mainframe.
- Control of the organization's communication network, infrastructure, and core systems.
- Monitoring, control, and supervision of the organization's information systems in collaboration with the NOC.
- Identification and resolution of faults, providing immediate solutions or referring to technical experts while ensuring full involvement in the fault's progression until its resolution.
- Direct communication with technical and managerial interfaces within the organization.
Requirements
- Proficiency in operating IBM mainframe systems.
- Experience in managing and monitoring network and infrastructure systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a NOC environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide immediate solutions or escalate issues appropriately.
