About the Position
Atlas Magnetics, Co. is an international semiconductor company with headquarters in the United States. Our growing team of silicon, hardware, software, and materials engineers is dedicated to creating programmable products and power solutions that are far more cost and size-effective than existing solutions. We are now seeking an IC Layout Engineer to become an integral part of the AM’s Programmable Products Group in Lviv, Ukraine.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including product development, applications, characterization, and test.
- CAD Drawings: Create a set of CAD drawings for the physical layer representation of analog electronic circuits.
- Checks and Compliance: Perform all necessary checks to guarantee a correct implementation of the schematics in the layout and ensure compliance with the used technology. Document the results.
- Performance Assurance: Work closely with Analog Design Engineers to ensure proper circuit performance.
- Constraints Management: Set time and area constraints for the own block/chip layout.
- Risk Mitigation: Flag risks regarding implementation or timing to the PM/lead designer and collaborate to mitigate these risks.
- Floorplan Creation: Create a floorplan of the full chip-level layout to fit the given layout constraints and assembly constraints.
Requirements
Must possess/demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Analog and Digital electronics engineering fundamentals.
- Experience: Experience in working with electronic measurement equipment.
- Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a team.
- Attitude: Positive attitude and willingness to adapt and learn.
- Language: Intermediate English level or higher.
Recommended/Desired Skills:
- Experience: Experience with silicon IP or chip-level definition.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of cross-section and semiconductor parasitic elements.
