About the Position
Our client is a leading European defense company that, in partnership with a Ukrainian organization, offers innovative solutions for the aerospace, defense, security, and digital technology industries. Their products and systems support critical missions and cutting-edge technological capabilities around the world.
The company is looking for an Industrial Process Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing processes, testing, and equipment integration within a high-tech production environment. The role involves close collaboration with Production, R&D, Maintenance, and Industrialization teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing, integration, and testing processes to ensure stable operation of production lines.
- Prepare and improve manufacturing, technical, and inspection documentation, as well as testing plans, control procedures, and testing strategies for equipment and subassemblies.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions to improve process efficiency and quality.
- Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams, including participation in resolving critical production incidents.
- Implement and develop continuous improvement practices to increase productivity, optimize costs, and standardize processes.
- Participate in long-term initiatives related to production transfer, process optimization, development of manufacturing infrastructure, and obsolescence management.
- Collaborate with Development, Product Support, Industrialization teams, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability, testability, and scalability of production solutions.
- Ensure compliance of manufacturing processes with health & safety and quality standards, and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for manufacturing and testing equipment.
Requirements
- Higher technical education (Engineering / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related fields)
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of manufacturing, repair, and industrial processes
- Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Experience working with manufacturing documentation, testing, and quality processes
- English level - Intermediate+
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
