Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Systems Administrator

About the Position

We are seeking a Junior Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Systems Administrator to join our team in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. This role involves managing and developing applications and information systems, providing user support, and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation, maintenance, and development of assigned applications and information systems
• Prepare, implement, and test modifications to applications and information systems
• Provide first-line user support (internal helpdesk)
• Communicate directly with IS/IT suppliers/vendors
• Analyze user needs and requirements
• Participate in projects introducing new information and communication systems and services
• Create manuals and conduct user training

Requirements

• University degree focused on IT (or relevant experience in a similar role)
• Knowledge of database structures
• Ability to create basic reports using SQL queries or MS Excel
• Above user-level knowledge of hardware, Windows OS, and application software
• Ability to analyze user requirements, conditions, and environment
• Basic project management knowledge (advantage)
• Knowledge of other operating systems such as Linux or Android (advantage)
• English reading level for technical documentation
• Work experience not required, but an advantage
• Pleasant communication, reliability, proactivity, flexibility, and independence
• Willingness to learn new things
• Ability to work in a team
