We are looking for an administrative information security consultant to join our growing cybersecurity team and work on diverse client projects.

Gofore has grown rapidly to become one of Finland's leading providers of cybersecurity services. You will work on diverse client projects, developing the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure, public sector clients, and industry and other companies.

Your typical tasks in our client projects include, for example, security compliance and current state assessments, implementing management models, integrating security into risk management, and developing security culture or working more holistically, for example, as our clients' CISO. As a consultant, your job description may vary depending on the project. Flexibility and curiosity are common traits among our experts.

Our clients include some of Finland's largest companies and organizations, such as Aimo Park, Labkotec, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, VR, and Valtra.

Responsibilities

Conduct security compliance and current state assessments
Implement management models
Integrate security into risk management
Develop security culture
Act as CISO for clients

Requirements

Several years of experience in information security tasks
Ability to create organizational security guidelines, develop and describe security processes, and consult the organization's management on security issues
Experience in managing and controlling information security risks and threats and implementing security management models
Experience in designing and implementing various security assessments or audits
Strong understanding of applying information security legislation requirements, authority guidelines, and requirement frameworks (e.g., NIS2, ISO27001, Katakri, Julkri, PiTuKri, NIST CSF) in information security management and development in the client's environment
Self-management skills and excellent interpersonal skills, as you will work with clients and other colleagues on the job
Customer-oriented attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of client projects, including the location and method of work

Additionally, we consider the following as an advantage:

Basic understanding of technical information security, e.g., cloud service security technologies (Microsoft and AWS)
Business continuity management skills
Relevant university degree
CISA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, CISM, CSX, or other widely recognized industry certifications

Please note that due to our client projects, we require applicants to be EU citizens and have fluent proficiency in Finnish and English. A security clearance may be required for the selected candidate as per the client's requirements.

Salary Range

At Gofore, it is important to us that work is fairly compensated. Salary is influenced by experience and skills, as well as two values we cherish: active measures to ensure that Gofore is a good workplace for everyone and considering the customer perspective in everything we do. In salary discussions with your direct manager, feedback received, billing rate (after all, we are consultants!), and the development of your skills are central.

Your base monthly salary will be between €4,500–€6,000, depending on your experience, in addition to a bonus based on your monthly billing. We will determine the appropriate salary level as discussions progress and get to know your skills better. We also have separate bonuses related to company success, which may be related to recruitment, sales, or increasing Gofore's recognition.
