About the Role

As an Information Security Officer at Quality B.V., you will be responsible for ensuring the information security of our clients. You will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and systems that protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. You will be the central point of contact for all security-related matters, bridging the gap between business and IT.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic vision for information security and the protection of digital assets.
• Establish and update security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead security awareness programs to keep employees informed about cyber threats and their roles.
• Guide compliance processes such as ISO27001, NIS2, and DORA to ensure organizations meet the latest standards and legislation.
• Implement practical procedures and ensure compliance within the organization.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and plan mitigations.
• Coordinate incident response, analyze causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR/AVG and ISO 27001; prepare for and follow up on audits.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an Information Security Officer or in a senior security role with HBO/WO work and thinking level.
• Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
• Experience with risk assessment and incident management.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles.
• Knowledge of information security standards such as ISO27001, NIS2, CRA.
• Certification (or willingness to obtain) in CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or CEH and deep knowledge of security governance and risk management.
