Information Security Specialist

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting and enhancing our client's security operations by monitoring, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents. You will support day-to-day information security activities, manage and optimize Microsoft 365 E5 security technologies, and implement security solutions that safeguard critical systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and remediate security incidents identified through SOC monitoring activities
• Support day-to-day information security operations and security-related requests from the customer
• Implement, configure, and maintain security solutions
• Perform security assessments to identify security gaps and vulnerabilities
• Manage and optimize Microsoft security technologies included in Microsoft 365 E5
• Interact with internal engineering and architecture teams to deliver secure solutions

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience as an Information Security Specialist or similar roles
• Experience working with Azure technologies
• Windows Server OS administration experience
• Knowledge of security technologies such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview
• Knowledge of security and compliance capabilities related to Microsoft Copilot and AI governance
• Good knowledge of security concepts such as encryption, multi-factor authentication, firewalls, antivirus, etc.
• Good understanding of networking principles
