About the Position

Ingeniero de Confiabilidad – Estrategias de Mantenimiento

MSMIN by SGS is a company dedicated to condition monitoring, technical inspection, reliability, and asset management for the mining industry. We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join a technical asset management back office team in a mining operation in the Antofagasta Region. The role involves developing maintenance strategies using RCM and FMECA methodologies based on failure history, work orders, manuals, and operational conditions; defining tasks, frequencies, man-hours, and spare parts; analyzing criticality and safety stock, and supporting the implementation of plans in the maintenance ERP.

Responsibilities

Develop maintenance strategies using RCM and FMECA methodologies.
Define tasks, frequencies, man-hours, and spare parts.
Analyze criticality and safety stock.
Support the implementation of plans in the maintenance ERP.

Requirements

Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in reliability or maintenance engineering in mining or process industry.
Knowledge of RCM, FMECA, criticality analysis, and ISO 14224.
Experience with JD Edwards or SAP PM, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
Postgraduate degree or diploma in reliability or asset management is desirable.

We Offer

Hybrid work model (mine site / remote) with 4x3 shift, availability for 7x7 or 8x6 shifts when required.
Project-based contract.
Entry subject to occupational exams and accreditation for mine site.
Title certificate and recommendation verification will be requested.
