About the Position
Ingeniero de Planificación de Mantenimiento – Work Management
MSMIN by SGS is a company dedicated to condition monitoring, technical inspection, reliability, and asset management for the mining industry.
We are seeking a Maintenance Planning Engineer for a technical asset management back office team in a mining operation in the Antofagasta Region. The role involves analyzing and controlling maintenance planning and scheduling processes: tracking work orders, managing backlog, ensuring program compliance, identifying deviations, and creating indicators and dashboards in Power BI, proposing improvements to the work administration process.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and control maintenance planning and scheduling processes
- Track work orders and manage backlog
- Ensure compliance with maintenance programs
- Identify deviations and propose improvements
- Create indicators and dashboards in Power BI
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 3 in maintenance planning or scheduling in mining or process industry
- Proficiency in maintenance ERP systems (JD Edwards desirable, or SAP PM)
- Proficiency in Power BI, MS Project, and advanced Excel
- Knowledge of maintenance indicators (SMRP) and ISO 14224
Additional Information
- 4x3 shift in a hybrid mode (mining site / remote), with availability for 7x7 or 8x6 shifts when required
- Project-based contract
- Entry subject to occupational exams and accreditation for the mining site
- Degree certificate and recommendation verification will be requested
