Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Calculation Engineer, you will be responsible for the modeling and mechanical justification of the structures and equipment developed.

Your main activities include:

• Performing complete finite element models
• Conducting 2D/3D meshing of structures using dedicated tools such as HyperMesh or equivalent
• Ensuring the quality of the mesh (criteria, refinement, convergence)
• Implementing linear and non-linear mechanical calculations (contacts, large deformations, advanced material behavior)
• Performing analyses:
  • Static and dynamic
  • Vibrational
  • Fatigue
• Exploiting and interpreting simulation results
• Proposing design optimizations in collaboration with the design office teams
• Writing calculation notes and justification dossiers
• Participating in internal and partner technical reviews

Requirements

Education / Experience:

• Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent university with a specialization in mechanics, you have initial experience in structural calculation.
• You have significant experience of at least 1 year in mechanical analysis of structures.

Technical Skills:

• Good mastery of FEM tools (Abaqus, Nastran, Ansys…)
• Experience in pre-processing and meshing, ideally with HyperMesh
• Solid knowledge in:
  • Resistance of materials
  • Mechanics of structures
  • Non-linear calculation
• Ability to understand complex physical phenomena
• Rigor, autonomy, and analytical mind

Personal Qualities:

• Rigor, autonomy, and analytical spirit
• Good level of technical English
