Description of the Role
In the context of complex projects in the aeronautics, space, or defense sectors, ALTEN supports its clients in mastering their products and their technical evolutions. The Technical Direction of the group is therefore recruiting a Configuration Management Engineer.
Main Missions
- Define and implement configuration management processes according to project requirements
- Monitor the evolution of product configurations throughout the lifecycle (baseline, change, version, traceability)
- Prepare and lead configuration committees (CCB – Configuration Control Board)
- Ensure coherence between technical elements, documentation, and nomenclatures
- Participate in the continuous improvement of configuration practices and associated tools
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Graduated from an engineering school or holding a Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering specialized in aeronautics or aerospace
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of configuration management standards and processes
- Proficiency in configuration management and PLM tools (Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP, etc.)
- Good understanding of product development cycles and systems engineering
- Skills in document management and traceability of evolutions
Personal Qualities
- Rigor and organization
- Ability to work with many stakeholders
- Attention to detail and traceability
- Analytical mindset and proactivity
Languages and Mobility
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken essential)
- Position based in Toulouse – Occasional travel may be required depending on projects
