Description of the Role

In the context of the development of our activities in the aerospace sector, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Stress Calculation of Structures specialized in composite materials and aeronautical structures.

You will work on high added value projects, notably on aircraft frames and door frames, and will be responsible for the mechanical analyses necessary for the validation of the structural integrity of parts and assemblies.

Main Missions

Perform sizing and justification calculations on aeronautical parts and sub-assemblies in composites and metals.
Conduct analyses in statics, dynamics, damage tolerance, fatigue, and defect tolerance.
Participate in the design and implementation of calculation models for the analysis and simulation of kinematic systems.
Model and simulate structures under different loads and environments.
Use numerical tools to perform advanced analyses and optimize design.
Write technical documentation and justification reports.
Participate in design reviews and propose technical solutions to improve the robustness and reliability of structures.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Solid knowledge in structural mechanics and finite element calculations.
Mastery of composite materials and their specific behaviors.
Experience with aeronautical structures: fuselage frames, door frames, etc.
Confirmed proficiency with the following software: ADAMS, Motion Solid, Patran / Nastran, Abaqus.

Profile Sought

Engineering degree in mechanics, aeronautics, or equivalent.
Successful experience of 3 to 5 years minimum in aeronautical structure calculations.
Rigor, analytical mind, and autonomy.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Technical English (reading, writing, and speaking).
