Description of the Position
To strengthen its defense division, the ALTEN agency in Rennes is recruiting a Naval Engineer specialized in mechanical design and conception, in Cherbourg.
Main Missions
- Conducting general and detailed design studies of complex mechanical systems or mechano-welded structures,
- Study and documentary writing, with the production of calculation notes, system modeling, definition of the qualification procedure, and specification of test means,
- Feasibility study, sizing, mechanical design, and modeling using CAD tools.
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
- Graduated from an engineering school or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5) equivalent in mechanics.
Technical Skills:
- Mastery of a CAD and PLM solution with a preference for CATIA V6 and 3Dx,
- Knowledge in sizing / layout, functional dimensioning, and CAD,
- Knowledge of mechano-welded structures is a plus.
