Description of the Position

ALTEN has been supporting major clients for over 35 years. Thanks to its preferential referencing, ALTEN guarantees access to high value-added projects.

To intervene on the nuclear park in operation, on the EPR2 project or even other dimensioning projects in the Energy sector, we offer you to join our team for the position of Nuclear Project Engineer.

You will play a coordinating role, and your main missions will be:

• Conducting feasibility studies for the project;
• Managing contractual aspects: drafting calls for tenders, analyzing bids;
• Following studies: reviewing documents, technical meetings;
• Reviewing test procedures, participating in tests, and participating in commissioning on site (supervision, technical support);
• Planning and coordinating the different actors of the study and project work phases;
• Monitoring the different project phases to assist the client;
• Managing deadlines and anticipating risks in collaboration with project managers;
• Organizing and leading site construction meetings.

Requirements

Education / Experience

For this position of Nuclear Project Engineer, we are looking for a candidate with an engineering degree with a specialization in electrical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering.

You ideally have prior experience in a nuclear environment.

Technical Skills

• Ability to analyze and write;
• Professional proficiency in English;
• Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint...);
• Knowledge of MS Project and Primavera is appreciated.

Personal Qualities

• You have a good open-mindedness and the ability to work in a team, as well as good time and priority management;
• You know how to be diplomatic but also defend your ideas;
• You have good interpersonal skills and know how to be pedagogical.
