Description of the Role
In the context of the development of one of our clients, based in Nantes, we are looking for a Quality Engineer (H/F).
Your main missions will be:
- Analyze and manage the maintenance of high performance of suppliers and the adequacy of their production capacities to needs
- Define and deploy indicators and tools for analysis and improvement of the logistics chain
- Collect information on the logistics chain to detect and analyze risks of supply disruption
- Digitalize information exchanges between internal systems and those of suppliers
- Establish and manage internal and external action plans necessary, in the event of a supplier failure or risk of failure
- Research operational solutions with suppliers
Qualifications
- You hold a higher education degree of the type Engineer and have initial experience in Quality Engineering, Production Management, Logistics.
- Ideally, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience related to industrial suppliers.
Domains of competence: Supply management, supply chain culture (MRP, CBN...), Purchasing knowledge, Lean manufacturing / sourcing, flow management, KANBAN, and logistical tools for securing supplies, production management rules.
Language level: Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory as exchanges with foreign suppliers are mainly in English and daily exchanges with distribution centers.
