Description of the Position

As part of its development, the ALTEN Nord Agency is looking for its future Ingénieur Système Ferroviaire (H/F), (Scope PWT – Traction / Conversion – Energy Storage).

As a Systems Engineer, you will lead the development of train systems and subsystems, this responsible role will make you the guarantor of the performance of the systems.

Main Missions:

• Leading the development and integration of train equipment (brakes, traction, etc.) based on functional requirements and specifications;
• Monitoring and respecting the V-cycle in the product development;
• Participation and leading technical meetings with suppliers and internal clients;
• Compliance with regulatory and normative items;
• Validation of the conformity of supplier deliverables;
• Participation in modification committee meetings;
• Interfaces with other project teams (international).

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Engineering degree or equivalent (bac+ 5) – specialization in embedded systems and/or mechatronics;
• Significant experience in systems engineering, in the railway sector, ideally on complex systems.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge in PWT (Power / Conversion & Energy Storage);
• Knowledge in BRK (Braking);
• Knowledge in embedded systems;
• Knowledge in V-cycle development;
• Aptitude for project management.

Personal Qualities:

• Teamwork and proactivity;
• Analytical and synthesis skills;
• Driven by challenge.

Languages:

• Fluent English required (technical and operational exchanges).
