Description of the Role

Context of the Position

In the context of critical naval defense programs (frigates, submarines, support vessels, onboard systems), we are recruiting an Ingénieur Systèmes Électricité (H/F) to work on the design, integration, and validation of complex onboard electrical systems.

Main Missions

Analyze operational needs and specify requirements
Define the global electrical architecture (production, distribution, conversion, protection)
Design and dimension electrical networks (BT/MT, direct current, backup)
Specify electrical equipment: panels, converters, cables, protections, batteries
Manage interfaces with other disciplines (mechanical, fluids, automation, systems)
Conduct or supervise selectivity studies, power balance, and electrical safety studies
Participate in design reviews and configuration management
Monitor manufacturing, onboard integration, and testing (FAT, HAT, SAT)
Apply naval and defense sector standards and standards

Qualifications

Profile Sought

Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac +5) in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or systems
2 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in a naval, industrial, or defense environment
Solid knowledge in electrotechnics, electrical networks, and safety of operation
Mastery of electrical design and calculation tools (SEE Electrical, Caneco, ETAP, EPLAN, or equivalent)
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary project team
Technical English required
