Description of the Role
Context of the Position
In the context of technologically complex naval defense programs (surface ships, submarines, onboard systems), we are looking for a Systems Fluids Engineer (H/F) to work on the design, integration, and maintenance of fluid systems under operational conditions.
Main Missions
- Analyze operational needs and specify requirements
- Define the functional and physical architecture of fluid systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, water, cooling, air, special fluids)
- Design and size fluid networks (calculations, pressure losses, safety)
- Specify equipment (pumps, exchangers, valves, piping, sensors)
- Interface with other disciplines (structure, mechanics, electrical, safety)
- Participate in design reviews and configuration management
- Monitor manufacturing, onboard integration, and testing (FAT / SAT)
- Apply naval and defense sector standards and standards
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac +5) in mechanics, energetics, process engineering, or systems
- 2 to 10 years of experience in fluid systems, ideally in a naval, offshore, or complex industrial environment
- Strong skills in hydraulics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
- Knowledge of calculation and design tools (CAD, simulation tools, technical Excel)
- Rigor, analytical mind, ability to work in a project team
- Technical English required
