Description of the Role

Role Description

In the context of the development of naval defense programs (surface ships, submarines, onboard systems), we are looking for a Mechanical Systems Engineer (H/F) to strengthen our engineering teams.

You will work on complex mechanical systems integrated into naval platforms with high operational requirements.


Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze client needs and specify requirements
  • Define the architecture of mechanical systems (functional and physical)
  • Design and integrate mechanical subsystems (structures, equipment, interfaces)
  • Conduct technical studies (sizing, choice of solutions, justification)
  • Monitor development, manufacturing, and testing
  • Coordinate with domain teams (electronics, electrical, safety, logistics support)
  • Participate in technical reviews and configuration management
  • Apply defense/naval sector standards and standards

Requirements

Required Profile

  • Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac +5) in mechanics, systems, or industrial engineering
  • Preferred experience of 2 to 10 years in mechanical engineering or complex systems
  • Knowledge of systems engineering (V-cycle, requirements, traceability)
  • Proficiency in CAO tools (CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, CREO, SOLIDWORKS, etc.)
  • Rigor, analytical mind, and ability to work in a project team
  • Technical English required
