Description of the Role
Within the Energy department, we have been supporting our major clients for over 35 years. Thanks to our preferential referencing, we guarantee you access to projects with high added value.
To strengthen its Energy pole, the ALTEN group's Engineering Directorate is recruiting an Embedded Software V&V Engineer H/F.
Main Missions
You will join a team dedicated to the Verification & Validation of embedded software ensuring safety functions in control systems. You will contribute to guaranteeing the compliance of software with technical and regulatory requirements throughout their lifecycle.
The main missions will be:
- Develop testing strategies based on software requirements.
- Write test plans, procedures, and test cases.
- Execute functional tests and robustness tests.
- Ensure traceability of tests with respect to requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, static analysis, and handling of non-conformities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the V&V process, in compliance with current standards.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Graduated from an engineering school or holding a Master's degree (Bac+5) with a generalist, electronics, or computer science focus.
- First experience in software V&V or development in a critical environment (nuclear, railway, aerospace, defense...).
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in C++ in a software validation context.
- Knowledge of software testing and use of static analysis tools (e.g., Cppcheck, SonarQube).
- Knowledge of safety standards (IEC 62138, IEC 60880, IEC 61508) is an asset.
