You will join Sopra Steria within the Digital Platform Services entity, with a dynamic team in a stimulating environment.

Depending on the missions assigned to you, you will work within Sopra Steria's internal teams for Infogérance-type services or be directly integrated into client teams. You will be supported by a dynamic team that will actively involve you in the overall project.

Throughout your journey within the Group, you will be accompanied by your operational manager, who is closely involved in your mission, and your mentor, whom you choose after a few months and who supports your career development.

Your Role and Missions

As a Linux Systems Engineer, your role is to meet client production and project demands across various technologies.

You maintain and administer client infrastructures:

• You manage the availability of client infrastructures
• You administer Linux components, in virtualized or on-premise environments
• You are responsible for support for Linux environments and performing routine and maintenance operations

You document and ensure follow-up:

• You are in charge of writing and maintaining operational documentation
• You generate activity and capacity reports for Linux system infrastructures

You resolve incidents and contribute to projects:

• You handle and follow up on the resolution of incidents across all client infrastructures
• You are involved in projects to evolve Linux infrastructures
• Possibility to participate in on-call duties

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Automation: Ansible, PowerShell, Bash
• Switching, Routing (N2, N3, N4)
• Storage: VSan, Pure Storage, HP
• Infrastructure monitoring
• Virtualization: VMWare, VSphère, VCenter

Your Profile

Graduated from an Engineering school or equivalent University degree, you already have significant experience of at least 5 years in IT Infrastructure on the Systems side, particularly on Linux/Unix technologies.

You are autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic. You also have a good sense of service and client relations.
