Join Bosch Chassis Systems India as a Data Engineer in manufacturing, supporting digitalization projects on the shop floor.

The company designs and develops world-class Hydraulic Brake System Parts, including Boosters, Tandem master cylinders, and Proportionating valves. The Control Division develops innovative components, systems, and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics, and driver assistance like ABS and ESP. RBIC is expanding its portfolio in passive safety and other driver assistance products.

Responsibilities

• Coordination with shop floor FLMs & team leads to understand pain points and support for developing digital solutions where applicable.
• Development of data pipelines from field elements on machines up to the analysis platform.
• Effective implementation of future-ready technologies like GEN-AI, AI Agents, BMG IP Suite on the manufacturing lines.
• Technical troubleshooting in digital solutions implemented in processes.
• Facilitation of resolution of MES technical issues on machines.
• Completion of VM Essential digital tasks as applicable to the area.
• Support to ensure enablement in digitalization for blue-collared associates.

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years in digitalization in the manufacturing domain on the shop floor.
• Desired competency and skills:
  • Good coding skills in Python, Java, etc.
  • Working experience on MAP platform, Azure data-bricks.
  • Good understanding of NEXEED/PROMASTER MES user menus & data structure.
  • Experience on devicebridge, powerplatform.
  • Ability to work on GEN-AI-based tools, n8n/Co-pilot AI agents.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing processes and ability to work in CFT.
  • Quick & passionate learner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Postgraduate in Computer Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or similar qualification.

Desired Level

• Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager
