Responsibilities

• Leading manufacturing projects and mentoring sub project leaders.
• Leading the administrative tasks like budget approvals, scope management, and resource management.
• Systematically reviewing project progress and preparing management summaries.
• Ensuring effective stakeholder management of the projects.
• Systematically driving the culture of risk management and mitigation measures in each project.
• Ensuring systematic change management, documentation, and reporting culture.
• Steering the innovation management processes to generate innovative ideas and solve current product/customer concerns.
• Anticipating risks and escalating them on time to concerned stakeholders.
• Coordinating and planning topics for IPN collaboration.
• Leading plant agreements.
• Leading and driving project management processes adhering to regulations and compliance to fulfill business objectives with the agreed budget and timeline.
• Ensuring team competency development on functional areas based on present and future trends of the business.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s / master’s degree in engineering (mechanical, IE, Automotive & Electronics).
• Certification: PMP certification.
• Experience:
  • Mandatory hands-on experience of leading a medium to high category Project (Manufacturing) as project leader.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Project Management in the automotive/Manufacturing sector.
  • 2-3 years of experience as Manufacturing engineer/Process planner.

Knowledge

• Competent in Leadership, Business, People, and Operations Management.
• Advanced knowledge in Regulatory & Organizational Management systems & guidelines.
• Advanced knowledge of related Product & application.
• Advanced knowledge about Lean manufacturing tools, IT tools, Business & Manufacturing practices.
• Advanced knowledge on Project cost structure (Finance).

Functional Skills

• Competent skills in FMEA, Control plan, Engineering change management & Problem-solving tools.
• Competent skills in implementing industry standard tools & methods for project management.
• Use of agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Advanced interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
