Inspection Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking an Inspection Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in the food industry to join our team in An Nubariyah, Beheira Governorate, Egypt.

Responsibilities

• To prioritize a safe way of working
• Conduct on-site inspections to check for anomalies, such as vibration, temperature, noise, and smell
• Perform machine health checks based on a checklist/manual
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop machines' critical control points by studying the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of critical equipment (separators, clarifiers, pumps)
• Support the identification of the critical equipment list with the upper and lower limits of the various measured parameters
• Assess equipment condition, recommend repair methods, and verify the quality of repairs
• Ensure the proper implementation of lubrication across the site equipment
• Develop a condition-based maintenance program for critical equipment if not yet developed

Standards & Regulations

• Compliance with all regulatory rules applied within Lesaffre Egypt

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Compile all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilling them while delivering a quality, cost-effective service within the timeframe

Key Results Areas (KRA)

• Improve the MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
• Reduce the number of unplanned stops (BDs)
• Compliance with regulations and effective implementation of standards
• Compliance with company SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Compliance with OEM Manuals

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering

Experience

• 1–3 years of solid experience in:
  • Food Industry
  • Heavy Equipment
  • High-Tech Packaging Industry

Lesaffre Egypt’s main office is located in the Giza Governorate of Sheikh Zayed City while the factory is placed in the Nubaryia Industrial Area of El Beheira Governorate. We also have a Baking Center and Logistics Warehouse in 6th of October City. Currently, we employ more than 200 individuals.
