About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will ensure that products meet the established quality standards through inspections and approvals of products and subassemblies, confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable products and subassemblies.
Responsibilities
- Execute inspections and approvals of subassemblies of parts and finished products, confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests to ensure customer specifications.
- Properly document inspections according to specifications and procedures in applicable systems to report deviations for decision-making and initiate quality process investigations.
- Package subassemblies and finished products according to material specifications.
- Execute initiatives related to the improvement of procedures, practices, and operations in the Quality department, including new projects required for the area.
- Execute actions related to the Quality area to improve preventive quality and failure control.
- Execute sustainable production practices to promote a culture of energy efficiency within the organization.
Requirements
Mandatory
- 9th year of high school (Graduate).
- Quality Technician (Graduate).
- 0 to 3 years as a Quality Inspector. Basic English (oral and written).
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Knowledge of regulatory systems and MRP.
- Experience in the medical industry (internal hiring requires at least one year of experience in medical manufacturing).
- Experience with quality control techniques (AQL, skip lot, among others).
Preferred
- Knowledge of statistical tools.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of SAP.
- Experience with measurement devices such as gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
